Jake has been advising individuals and families for two decades, earning numerous honors for his work on behalf of his clients. During his time at MetLife, he was named to MetLife's Americas Council, the highest level of achievement for the firm's financial services executives. He works extensively with individuals and their families with a particular focus on academic professionals at the university level. He has in-depth knowledge of the various components of the savings and benefit plans they participate in and integrate those aspects into their overall savings, investments, and protection program. Another area of focus is working with families who have dependents with special needs who face unique challenges when it comes to financial management and long-term planning.
Jake helps employers provide their employees with the objective financial and retirement education they need and want. A graduate of St. Mary's College of Maryland with a degree in sociology and business administration, Jake and his family work to help rescue and find forever homes for dogs who deserve a chance to be someone's loving companion.
